Full tasting notes and images are available to view below to help you decide which ones you might like to try, although this might not be completely up to date as we have new gins arriving all the time.
All the gins we serve are meticulously researched and tested by the team at Arcade Tavern, complemented by the recommended garnishes and selected tonics. We serve Fever-Tree as standard but have specific mixers for certain Gins.
We cater for those who do not like the Quinine in Tonic with a new range of premium Soda mixer.
We are happy to recommend a good combination we are confident you will enjoy.
Gin Tastings Sessions
We regularly hold gin tasting session’s here at Arcade Tavern, which consist of 6 different gins for you to try, these are ticket only events and are very popular-watch out for our social media platforms for us to announce new dates.
We will also be announcing a new Gin Tasting selection for you each month as an alternative tasting sessions for you to try at your own pace. This new format of Gin Tastings is a great option for smaller groups minimum 2 people.
Our new tasting menus are a great way to get to know some gins you may not have come across before.
Many are small batch premium Gins and showcase the breadth of flavours available today.

Our Gins
Adnams Copper House 40%abv, England
IWSC Gold award 'Outstanding Gin 2013'
This cracking gin from Adnams is distilled in a beer stripping column before being put through a handmade copper pot still. It is then purified in a rectifier, resulting in a very creamy and rich spirit, although at this point it isn’t yet technically a gin! To complete the final stage, it is then infused with six botanicals including juniper, cardamom pod, sweet orange and hibiscus flowers.
Adnams Copper House Pink Gin, 40% abv, England
The much loved Copper House with a raspberry burst.
A pink variation of the classic Copper House Gin from Adnams, name with the original recipe of six botanicals (juniper, orris, coriander, cardamom, sweet orange peel and hibiscus) alongside a helping of raspberry!
Aegean Eye Olive Gin
Turkey, 40% abv
Aegean Eye Olive Gin is produced using the finest Olives grown in the Adatepe region. The olives are hand picked just before they are fully ripened and carefully transferred to be crushed in the granite stone mills within twelve hours. Releasing their first golden drops of oil or Sizma’ it is believed to be the real elixir of the Gods.
Audemus Pink Pepper, 44% abv, France
Full of peppery goodness.
A Pink Pepper Gin from French producers Audemus, situated in the heart of Cognac. Made with hand-picked pink peppercorns and a handful of other tasty botanicals including honey, vanilla and cardamom - all of which are macerated separately then distilled under low pressure and temperature. You'll find a good juxtaposition between sweet and spicy notes in this one.
Comte De Grasse 44°N
France, 44% abv
Spirits distillery Comte de Grasse comes 44°N a premium gin produced in the French Riviera.A multi award winning Luxury Gin. Making the most of its surroundings in Grasse, the capital of perfumery, the brand has adopted fragrance production techniques in the distillation process and gathered a blend of 22 botanicals at its distillery (also located within a former perfumery) . The Gin is made using ultrasonic maceration, vacuum distillation and CO2 supercritical extraction techniques normally reserved for perfume and cosmetics - this all all sounds very high tech and fancy, but in fact these techniques are also incredibly sustainable and efficient. The list of botanicals is extensive, with cade (a species of juniper), verbena, everlasting (a golden flower), horse parsley, samphire, lavender, mimosa, grapefruit, patchouli and Sichuan pepper among a few of them. The gin is inspired by the Mediterranean, right down to it's brilliant blue bottle. Which incidentally has just won a prestigious award in itself - With submissions from 200+ companies worldwide, the bottle design for 44˚N by Comte de Grasse was selected as winner of the Marking Visual Award — a global packaging design competition commissioned by the Food & Beverage Innovation Forum. Tasting Note Woody juniper and a pinch of salt, with a burst of sweet and bitter citrus followed by an aromatic floral bouquet, a creamy note on the finish supported by warming pepper spice. This is Luxury Gin and this comes at a price. Sipped neat over ice or served up to make an exquisite G&T Definitely one to savour.
Bathtub, 43.3% abv, England
Beautifully smooth cold compounded gin.
An extraordinary award-winning gin, made using the traditional method of Cold Compounding (or in layman’s terms – infusing). Very high quality copper pot-still spirit is infused with ingredients including: juniper, orange peel, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. This gin is made in ultra-small batches and the length of the compounding period is controlled entirely by periodic sampling. The resulting spirit is a truly smooth and clean gin with fresh, bright flavours of the botanicals. It’s presented just like an old apothecary medicine bottle – brown paper, string and wax sealed by hand. Best with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic.
Bathtub Navy Strength, 57% abv, England
IWSC Trophy for Contemporary Gin in 2017
As well as boasting a higher ABV than the original Bathtub Gin, it's an intense botanical explosion of cardamom, clove, coriander, citrus & juniper berries from the 'bashing up' (technical term) of the botanicals to release more flavour.
Bath Tub Rosemary & Pink Grapefruit

This expression features the same host of botanicals as the multi-award-winning original, blended and infused with natural grapefruit and rosemary. A glorious pairing, bringing a bunch more vibrantly zesty elements and softly floral notes to the bold gin at its heart, and it definitely makes for a G&T that stands out.
Brockmans, 40% abv, England
Blueberries make this a very smooth and fruity gin.
A fusion of botanicals sourced from all over Europe, this is an intensely smooth, refreshing fruity gin unlike any other on the market. The unique recipe uses Tuscan Juniper, Bulgarian coriander, Valencian Orange peel and wild dried Blueberries and blackberries. A carefully managed steeping and copper pot distillation method results in the highly distinctive and smooth taste. The traditional juniper notes act as a platform for the aromatic wild berries and the citrus kick to come to life.
Bombay Sapphire, 40% abv, England
Ten beautiful botanicals
Named in honour of gin’s popularity in India throughout British rule, Bombay Sapphire is in fact a born and bred London Gin. Flavoured with the finest juniper berries from Tuscany, these remain at the heart of Bombay Sapphire’s flavour, resulting in a much-loved dry, herbal tang.
Bobby's Dry Gin
Netherlands, 42% abv
Bobby’s Gin is a refined expression of Dutch Courage fuelled with Indonesian spirit. A fresh and spice-forward combination of ‘Schiedam’ gin botanicals like juniper, fennel seeds, coriander, and rose hips, and traditional Indonesian spices from grandfather Jacobus ‘Bobby’ Alfons’ Pinang Raci recipe, like lemongrass, cloves, cinnamon, and cubeb peppers.
Bullards Strawberry & Black Pepper, 40% abv, England
The perfect fresh and fruity gin for Summer.

Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz, 37.8% abv, Australia
Distilled with Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes.
This intriguing treat is the delicious result of mixing Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin with Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes. The Australian distillers steeped the grapes in the gin for eight weeks, then pressed the grapes and blended it with yet more of their gin! The palate is thick with juicy berry notes, underpinned by hints of peppery juniper and earthy herbs. A light hint of Christmas-y spices lingers. Incredibly rich and deep purple in colour.
Gin Mare, 43% abv, Spain
The essence of the Mediterranean. An incredible gin.
This is one beautiful gin. It’s seriously impressive and made all the more desirable by its gorgeous bottle. Distilled in a fishing village near Barcelona, Gin Mare smells and tastes like essence of the Mediterranean. It was designed as a ‘pan-Mediterranean concept’ that unites the different cultures around the sea, representing their botanical stars. Its primary botanicals are Arbequina olives, thyme, basil, rosemary & lemon. Gin Mare smells of Mediterranean Sea breezes. It has clear scents of its woody herbs and citrus, with subtle sweetness. It tastes spicy at first then mellows, with an exponentially long, soft finish when the olives really come through. It’s herby and complex at the same time as being gentle and fragrant. Best with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic.
Hoxton, 43% abv, England
Warning - Grapefruit and coconut!
If you like Pina Coladas!!! A fresh and fruity gin with an impressive array of ethically-sourced ingredients. Coconut, grapefruit, juniper, iris, tarragon and ginger are macerated for 5 days before a single distillation in 150-year-old copper pot-stills to obtain the perfect concentration for blending with grain spirit. Hoxton Gin is then filtered and rested in steel tanks for two months, a longer than usual process which helps integrate the myriad flavours.
Half Hitch, 40% abv, England
Black tea and bergamot.
Half Hitch Gin - 'The G with Tea' - is handmade in Camden and uniquely made with bergamot and black tea. Half Hitch smells bright, fruity, mellow, aromatic, rounded and slightly herbal, with aromas of citrus including the bergamot. At first it tastes spicy and sweet, with clear flavours of bergamot, orange peel, nutmeg and some of that black tea. It has hints of woody spice and a slight grassiness. Once the spice has calmed and dispersed, the more mellow flavours hang around for absolutely ages.
Haymans Old Tom Gin, 40% abv, England
A classic Old Tom Gin. Hayman Distillery.
Nose: Sweet lavender, candied lemon peel, hints of violets and tangy juniper plus orange zest. Palate: Zesty, rich palate. Sweet with gingerbread, juniper and spice. Finish: Good length, with developing sweet, spicy dryness and iced tea.
Hayman's Sloe Gin
London, England 26%
A true English Sloe gin is defined by it's balance. Not too sweet, not too tart & of course you need to be able to taste the gin. In this gin you will find intense plummy aromas, hints of Almond nuttiness & delicious fruity notes from the wild forged berries, all underpinned by a classic English gin backbone.
Herno Old Tom
Herno Old Tom Gin is made from the same distilled gin as Herno Gin, but with an extra amount of Meadowsweet added in the distillation and after diluting it down to 43% they add a touch of sugar. The sweetness lifts the floral notes, releases an array of juniper and makes the gin even smoother.
Hendrick's, 41.4% abv, Scotland
Unique cucumber & rose Scottish gin.
Housed inside an unmistakable dark apothecary bottle, Hendrick's Gin is blended with cucumber and rose infusions after distillation. It's unique and this method makes Hendrick's distinct from London Dry and Plymouth Gins. Distilled differently to most, all the botanicals are added to the top of the spirit to ensure only the best flavours survive the extraction process.
Jaffa Cake Gin

With botanicals sourced worldwide, a copper pot still that is over 100 years old, and water from Iceland (the purest, softest water in the world), Martin Miller's Dry Gin is smooth and delicate. Martin Miller's Moons Barrel Aged Gin
Distilled in England, blended in Iceland
After several years of experimentation, Martin Miller's Gin presents Solera Reserve, produced to ensure consistency. The gin is rested for at least 9 months, or moons, in oak barrels which have been dried in the open, adding exceptional depth to the gin.

Monkey 47, 47% abv, Germany
Made with 47 botanicals!
This is the fastest-selling Gin in the UK at the moment, and for a premium gin with a tidal wave of new gins on the market, that is saying something! A small batch production, made with the benefit of "masterful distillation and maturation", it has scents of citrus and pure juniper, with lavender notes and a slightly sweet floral aroma, a tangy and crisp citrus edge, a hint of peppery spices and subtle bitter fruit. The 47 handpicked botanicals - centering on the lingonberry - are predominantly sourced in the Black Forest, Germany, and prepared in soft local spring water, giving it an unrivalled complexity and quality. Nordes Atlantic Galician, 40% abv, Spain
Distilled from Albariño wine.
Nordes Atlantic Galician Gin is distilled from Albariño wine and a selection of 12 wild Galician botanicals such as laurel, caralleira grass, lemon verbena and eucalyptus resulting in a clean, distinctive gin with subtle floral flavours and a hint of citrus and spice. This unique flavour profile is inspired by the eponymous fresh northerly Atlantic wind. Best with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic.
No 3 London Dry Gin
Holland, 46% abv
No 3 London dry gin is a beautiful looking gin from Berry Bros. Made to a special recipe, the name No.3 refers to the address of BBR - Number 3, St James's Street. With juniper at its heart, it's also made with orange peel, grapefruit peel, coriander, cardamom and angelica.
Portofino Dry Gin
Italy, 43% abv
Portofino Dry Gin features 21 botanicals, each one carefully selected for its natural aromatic properties. Juniper, lemons, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, sage, iris and rose are organically grown in the botanical sanctuary on the hills of Portofino and combined with locally handpicked ingredients to complete our gin’s secret recipe.
Plymouth Gin, 41.2% abv, England
Try as a Pink G&T with Aromatic Tonic – The Pink Flamingo!
Plymouth Gin used to be geographically protected so it could only be produced in Plymouth, Devon. Flavour-wise, it's similar to a London Dry Gin, though slightly sweeter and containing a different blend of botanicals with more emphasis on earthy roots and fruit-forward flavours. Plymouth gin has been distilled with the same seven exotic botanicals and soft Dartmoor water and pure grain alcohol since 1793.
Sipsmith, 41.6% abv, England
Sipsmith: As London as gin gets.
This multi-award winning gin was launched in 2009, having been made in the first copper still in London for nearly 200 years. It led the way for the whole modern craft distilling movement. "The quintessential expression of a classic, traditional London Dry Gin." Bold, complex and aromatic, perfect for a G&T - in which you'll taste hints of orange marmalade and lemon tart.
Sipsmith V.J.O.P., 57.7% abv, England
This one is supercharged!
V.J.O.P. (which of course stands for “Very Junipery Over Proof”) is made in a similar way to Sipsmith’s regular gin, except that the juniper has been turned up to eleven. With extra juniper added to the original recipe, even more is added while the gin is in Sipsmith’s lovely pot still, and it’s also vapour infused via their Carter head.
Tanqueray, 43.1% abv, England
A simple London Gin with 180 years of history.
Tanqueray is gin stripped down to its most naked form. Distilled four times over with only four botanicals added to the spirit: juniper, Angelica, Coriander and Liquorice. This is perfect gin to have at any time. It’s a simple but balance London Dry Gin. Fact: Frank Sinatra’s favourite gin.
Trevethan Gin
England, 43% abv
Trevethan Gin is bold in flavour with subtle citrus and floral notes. They use botanicals sourced from all over the globe as well as some from their very own hedgerows in the Cornish countryside. The recipe includes the usual suspects of Juniper, Coriander, Cassia and Angelica along with some less familiar botanicals like cardamom, orange peel, lemon peel and vanilla. The vanilla helps to leave you with a soft and oily texture on the pallet. Finally, it is finished off with the finest Cornish Elderflower and Gorse flower, handpicked from the hedgerows of the Pentillie Castle Estate. The water used comes from a natural spring at Pentillie, the water is so soft that no mineral treatment is necessary which helps to create a truly natural flavour.
Twisted Nose Watercress Gin
England, 40% abv
Caught in glinting, swirling, blue-green glass, Twisted Nose invites you to taste with your eyes even before you’ve pulled the oak stopper to breathe in the fragrance as you pour the spirit. The taste is intensely herbaceous yet delicately floral, beginning with soft sweet citrus notes, developing spicy undertones and finishing with a peppery sparkle from the fresh watercress grown at the distillery.
Wilkin & Sons Little Scarlet Strawberry Gin Liqueur, 28% abv, England
Simply delicious!
Little Scarlet Strawberries are unique to the Wilkin Estates at Tiptree, Essex, where they have been growing fruit since the 1800s.They are hand-picked, then sent to, Hayman's, in Witham, Essex. Hayman’s have an artisan still where they make traditional London Dry Gin. Wilkins berries are rested in the gin, and the result is this delicious gin liqueur, offering bright, clean strawberry notes with a crisp background of juniper.

English Raspberries at their very best!
Raspberries are amongst the most traditional of crops farmed at Tiptree. Each year Wilkins wait until the fruit is perfectly plump and juicy before picking. Tiptree English Raspberry Gin Liqueur bursts with the fruitiness of English raspberries.
Wilkin & Sons English Damson Gin Liqueur, 28% abv, England
Velvety sweet.
Every Autumn, vibrant Blue damsons bring a splash of colour to the Tiptree orchards each Damson plum is carefully hand-picked into a basket. Tiptree English Damson Gin Liqueur offers a deep, velvet sweetness of damson with more than a hint of almond on the finish.
Yu Gin
France, 43% abv
From Spiritique comes Yu Gin, a French spirit inspired by Japanese heritage and traditions. The star botanicals are yuzu and Sichuan pepper, accompanied by coriander and juniper. And that's it! Delightfully simple, with a refreshing and subtly spiced flavour profile, all bottled up at 43% ABV in this rather ornate vessel. We reckon a splash of tonic water and a slice of lemon should do very well.
Zymurgorium Distillery & Northern Monk Brewery Infirmarian Black Hop Gin, 40% abv, England
Made with hops…and it’s purple!
A collaboration between Zymurgorium Distillery in Manchester and Northern Monk Brewery in Leeds. This gin was envisioned as a deconstruction of a black IPA in gin form, Infirmarian is a "black hop gin" laced with Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic, where the hops character is accentuated by grapefruit and kissed by junipers and liquorice.
Zymurgorium Distillery & Northern Monk Brewery Cahokia Gin, 40% abv, England
Made with New World hops.
This is a unique spirit made using juniper as you would expect, but it also has New World hops, coffee, vanilla, orris, lime, Mexican organic royal blue agave, mango, pineapple and tangerine! This is one smooth and incredibly delicious gin.
